Wishbone's first trip with me. We were off to New Brunswick to welcome Isabella into this crazy world. Wishbone was adopted through the Buddies for Bunnies program. Check out their blog: www. buddiesforbunnies.blogspot.com
This delightful little plant is growing near the train tracks in Hali. There are little, red berries that grow just beneath the leaves. They are delicious, and apparently, they grow at three different times throughout the year, for year long munching. Thanks to the fellow who eagerly shares his knowledge. These little plants are everywhere!
This is close to my favorite spot of all time. I've spent hours upon hours in this area; thinking, writing, sitting, walking. I love to drink the water, and listen to the trees creeeeak in the wind. Sometimes happiness is a bubbling brook.
My nephew, Joseph, by a wonderful little brook in New Brunswick. We were exploring and looking for rocks.
Gardening in the backyard. A bunch of ladies transplanting baby plants. This evening activity made my heart so happy. What a joy to be sharing knowledge about sage, and tomatoes with younger folks interested in getting their hands dirty. I love our backyard!
Turtles are amazing creatures. They are one of the oldest reptile groups, and are more ancient than lizards and snakes. The earliest known turtles date from 215 million years ago. Whoa! Gamera, I love you.
I'm mildly crazy. Things that make my heart happy: love, riding my bicyle, animals, music, plants, friends, lovers, children, writing letters, receiving letters, hugs, laughter, travelling, sunshine, thunderstorms, my family (mostly), theatre; which includes but is not limited to: acting, reading scripts, watching plays, and costume designing. Dancing, singing, biking, talking, learning, reading books (constantly), and daydreaming.
I love the earth, I hate modern day society (minus the coffee shops and some sweet people)
Someday I hope to live in the woods.
